Career Exploration for High School Students

The College Now - Career Pathways program offers dedicated year-long high school programs, with eight career exploration options. All students earn high school credits, with the option to receive college credits. The program tuition is paid by the school district, but students pay program fees.

Who is eligible to participate?

Poudre and Thompson school district high school juniors and seniors are eligible to participate in the Career Pathways program.

Where and when are classes held?

  • Most programs are held at the FRCC main Larimer Campus.
  • Transportation
    • Poudre School District students: Transportation is provided to/from FRCC and Fossil Ridge HS (culinary program). Transportation is not available for students participating in the Holistic Health program at the FRCC-Loveland campus.
    • Thompson School District students: Transportation is provided to/from all Career Pathways programs.
  • Classes are held every day, Monday – Friday.
  • Counselors select the morning section (8:00 a.m. - 10 a.m.) or afternoon section (12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.) based on the student’s home high school schedule.
