Starting July 6, 2020, the following student services will be open to students for in-person services on a limited basis:
Please communicate directly with the department you would like to meet with in person for the most up-to-date hours and availability. For students who do not wish to come to campus, all of these departments will continue to offer remote appointments as well.
Safety & COVID-19 Response
The College has convened a task force of staff from Human Resources, Campus Security & Preparedness, and Facilities to provide guidance on how we can open as safely as possible in the fall. The task force has made recommendations to college leaders for safety measures.
Front Range is taking the following safety precautions:
Each campus building will have only one exterior door unlocked until further notice.
All students and staff who are able are required to wear face coverings in any public area on campus. The College has a supply of masks for staff and students who have forgotten theirs or who cannot supply their own. They are available at the Campus Security office.
We have cleaning supplies, such as disinfecting spray and paper towels, available for staff and students to sanitize any area they use. We have ordered wall-mounted dispensers for sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer and plan to place those in all classrooms and other high-traffic areas, and we are reviewing our cleaning protocols, particularly for classrooms and other high-touch/high-traffic areas.
The College has installed Plexiglas barriers where students and staff frequently interact.
Six-foot distancing is required throughout campus. We are looking at classroom sizes and other gathering spaces and rearranging or removing furniture as needed to follow public health guidance around social distancing, room capacity, movement within classrooms and hallways, etc.
FRCC has developed signage to clearly communicate our expectations regarding social distancing, face coverings, and other measures that have been shown to help slow transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
We expect all students and staff to conduct daily self-screening prior to coming to campus. If you are experiencing symptoms that indicate you could have COVID-19, call your doctor or medical provider immediately for guidance on getting tested. Do not come to campus. If you are going to be absent from work or class, please let your faculty/instructor and/or supervisor know.
Your safety is our priority. If we deem that it is no longer in the best interest in the safety of our FRCC community to keep our campuses open, we will implement plans to finish the fall semester remotely.
