Improve your English reading, writing and speaking skills with our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at FRCC. These skills can help prepare you for success in both college and your career.
ESL instructors work with students to:
- Understand, speak, read and write English for everyday situations
- Improve your pronunciation
- Learn about American culture and civics
- Improve academic English and sharpen 21st century skills needed to be successful in college and career. These skills include problem solving, critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration and technology.
- Develop and practice leadership skills.
Important Note for International Students: FRCC does NOT issue an I-20 for the study of English.

Register | Complete the FRCC Application and become a student at our college. If you need support, please contact our Admissions
Office at 303-678-3722. You will receive an email from FRCC with your Student Number. Take note of this number. Come to the first day of class of your choice from the following schedules. Teachers will help you complete any registration steps as needed and determine your ESL Level. |

Classes & Registration
- Larimer Campus classes meet for six hours per week, mornings or evenings, with four hours of online homework.

All classes are free of charge.

Registration remains open until all testing spots are full. Testing spots and classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis based on registration.

You can register on the website here once the registration date is open.

Note: you must be 17 or older and not enrolled in public school. We cannot accept students who hold F-1 Visas or au pairs in our classes.
