Learn Principles and Skills for Success in Math & Science Fields

Our Math & Science Community prepares you to transfer to a four-year school majoring in biology, chemistry, engineering, fermentation science, geology, geography, math or physics. Or to start a science career in GIS, landscape design or forestry and natural resources.

You will learn mathematical and scientific principles and tools to develop sound reasoning, problem solving and critical-thinking skills. The Associate of Science degree is ideal for students who plan to get a bachelor's degree at a four-year institution.

In our math and science degrees, you will be exposed to careers in math and science, and you will work in state-of-the-art labs, including a cadaver lab, GIS lab, instrument facility and an astronomy observatory. Learn from experts — approximately 40 percent of our science faculty hold a PhD in their field.
