Admissions Requirements

You may apply for the Integrated Building Design BAS program if:

  1. You have earned an associate degree in Architectural Engineering Technician, Computer-Aided Drafting, Interior Architecture & Design or equivalent from a regionally accredited college
    CCCS policy (BP 9-71 Transfer Credit) Credit can only be transferred from  regionally accredited educational institutions.
  2. If you are currently enrolled, in the last semester, completing final associate degree in Architectural Engineering Technician, Computer-Aided Drafting, Interior Architecture & Design or equivalent from a  regionally accredited  college, you may be considered for provisional admittance or early admittance for dual enrollment in the first semester into the Integrated Building Design BAS program.

How to Apply

Step 1: Apply to FRCC

The first step is to complete the online FRCC application:

  • Select Liberal Arts, Communication & Design for Area of Interest
  • Select Integrated Building Design BAS for degree
  • Attach all supplemental documents to your application

Step 2: Submit Supplemental Documents

The next step is to attach supplemental documents to your submitted application. This includes:

  • Unofficial transcript to verify associate degree in Architectural Engineering Technician, Computer-Aided Drafting, Interior Architecture & Design or equivalent.  
  • Students currently enrolled in an associate degree in Architectural Engineering Technician, Computer-Aided Drafting, Interior Architecture & Design or equivalent may be considered for provisional or early admittance.

How to Upload Supplemental Documents

  • After completing the online application, click  Submit Application
  • Click on the My Account link in the menu
  • Click on Step 4. Submit Supplemental Items
  • Click the Choose File button next to each item and upload the relevant document.

When you have successfully uploaded a document, the submission status will show as Received.
