We offer two degrees and two certificate programs to help you start your career. In the two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in database administration, you'll learn to organize and secure data on computer networks. The AAS in computer information systems is a two-year degree in which you can customize your courses based on your goals. You can explore computer-based subjects such as web development, networking and computer science.

We also offer two certificate programs that you can complete in as little as one semester. In the applications specialist certificate, you will learn important computer-based office tools. The database certificate will teach you important database design and administrative skills.

You'll also find flexibility and convenience in your class options. You can take classes online or in person at our three campus locations. In addition, you can earn our degrees and certificates completely online. Our professors are skilled at teaching and supporting you whether you are in-person or online. Total Credits: 60 credits (2 years)

Start a career as a database administrator with our two-year program. You'll learn about:

Transfer Options

AAS Computer Information Systems

FRCC is proud to have a transfer agreement with Regis University. If you graduate with an AAS in computer information systems, you will be able to transfer your credits to Regis University. You will be able to graduate from Regis University with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems. Learn more about our transfer agreement.

Your degree or certificate program can open doors for a career in a variety of fields related to computer information systems. Although some careers may require bachelor's and graduate degrees, you'll get a strong foundation with a degree from FRCC.
