Behavioral Health Non-Credit Courses

FRCC's non-credit behavioral health courses offer a great way to upskill or gain new knowledge. Designed to cover the same information as the associated certificate paths, these courses provide the information and skills needed for entry-level behavioral health roles.

Non-Credit vs. For-Credit Courses

Classes offered as non-credit do not get recorded on a college transcript. Students taking these non-credit behavioral health classes who earn a 70% or higher will receive documentation of successfully completing the class. Front Range is working on a pathway for students who complete these non-credit behavioral health courses to earn college credit in the future.

For-credit classes are standard college courses. Students receive a letter grade in each class, which is recorded on their college transcript. Students who complete all courses in their chosen pathway with a grade of “C” or higher graduate from the college with that certificate.

FRCC's non-credit behavioral health classes combine live Zoom sessions with independent assignments, blending skills practice and written work to strengthen learning - all accessible from anywhere. Non-credit classes do not follow a traditional semester schedule and each class is offered multiple times per year.
