Michelle’s first ASL teaching job in 1993 was with FRCC. After teaching ASL at various colleges in the Denver metro area in the subsequent years, and Jumpstart students at Gallaudet University during the summer of 2010, she was excited to return to FRCC in 2011.
Teaching Philosophy
I like to work closely with my students to help develop a high quality future interpreter. I find it rewarding to see my students’ learning translate into both their professional success, and giving back to the Deaf community. I love incorporating Deaf studies into my teaching curriculum.
