My Outreach Focus:
My outreach focus is working with high school students to help them explore their various college options. I also enjoy hosting our Pathway Day campus visit programs, attending college fairs, working with concurrent enrollment students, and visiting various high schools to speak with students, parents, and counselors.
Why FRCC is Great:
FRCC is a strong community dedicated to supporting and encouraging students as they prepare for their future. Just walking down the hall, students feel welcomed by smiling faces, signs and posters for resources or campus events, academic assistance, and often…free food!
Favorite Class in College:
My favorite class in college was Sociology. The instructor was very energetic and challenged us to explore the importance of and the theories behind social change, social trends, and cultural/social sensitivity and how they impact our everyday lives.
Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work in education. I began my career as a high school teacher, then transitioned to a high school counselor, before deciding to pursue a position in higher education. I really enjoy meeting with students, understanding their goals, helping them explore their college/career options, and guiding them through the enrollment process. I am proud to be part of the amazing Admissions and Outreach team at the Front Range Community College Westminster Campus!
