Supervisor Training for Manufacturers
The NOCO Manufacturing Supervisor training program provides hands-on experiences that introduce first-time supervisors to the competencies necessary to do their jobs. Supervisors will leave this course with tools, resources and action plans that can improve their skills and prepare them for the workforce as front line supervisors.
Part One - Manage Your Team guides and challenges new supervisors to become more confident in following safety standards, recognizing legal issues, developing employees, defining jobs and hiring, and managing a high performing team.
Part Two - Manage Your Business explores business acumen, problem solving, lean principles and operational improvement.
Students are asked to bring their own laptops or tablets to class. The college can provide a loaner if needed.
