Manufacturing Supervisors

Supervisor Training for Manufacturers

The NOCO Manufacturing Supervisor training program provides hands-on experiences that introduce first-time supervisors to the competencies necessary to do their jobs. Supervisors will leave this course with tools, resources and action plans that can improve their skills and prepare them for the workforce as front line supervisors.

Fall 2020 courses will be held remotely online in real-time on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Students will need a PC, laptop, or other device with camera, microphone, speakers and Internet connection to take these online courses.

Part One - Manage Your Team guides and challenges new supervisors to become more confident in following safety standards, recognizing legal issues, developing employees, defining jobs and hiring, and managing a high performing team.

Part Two - Manage Your Business explores business acumen, problem solving, lean principles and operational improvement.
