College Now Student Services Coordinator

I had originally planned to take a break of a few years between high school and college, but after being disappointed with the job I found with only a high school diploma, I knew I needed to go to college. I’m glad I came to Front Range Community College and was able to find a job as a work-study on campus. This allowed me to work part-time while I attended school full-time. I continued my education at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and after earning my Bachelor’s degree I came back to work at FRCC full-time.

I was born in Colorado and raised in the small town of Milliken. In high school I was privileged to be a part of the CSU Upward Bound program, a federally funded pre-collegiate TRIO program that prepares first generation and low income students to attend college. The program’s unwavering support through high school, and even through college, motivated me to work in the field of education to share the mission of TRIO wherever I work.

I was born in Fillmore, Utah and raised in Lafayette, CO. In high school I participated in the IB program and was lucky enough to transfer over 40 credits to college because I graduated with my IB Diploma which saved me money when going to college. After I graduated, I started volunteering and working for non-profit associations and developed a desire to educate families about higher education.
