Susana Gallegos

Bilingual Admissions & Outreach Representative

I was born and raised in Mexico. My family and I moved to the States when I was 16 years old.

High school was very challenging for me because I was in a school where there were almost no Latinos and it was a big language and culture barrier. Thanks to one of my teacher's support I was able to graduate high school.

I moved to Colorado right after graduation and have been here ever since. I knew I wanted to go to college, but I was not sure how to start or where to go. My sister-in-law told me to go to FRCC and ask for information about how to start. Contact Susana.

Elynn Price

Representative, Admissions & Outreach

I graduated from a small K-12 school in Southeastern, CO. My high school only offered a few concurrent enrollment courses taught by my high school teachers so I didn’t have much college experience before going to CU Boulder. While I successfully graduated from CU, the experience was difficult and I really owe my success to the programs that helped me find community and support on campus. Ever since, I’ve wanted to help people reach their personal and educational goals by offering support and guidance as they pursue higher education. Contact Elynn.

Rebecca Chavez

Director of Admissions & Outreach

I was born in Colorado and raised in the small town of Milliken. In high school I was privileged to be a part of the CSU Upward Bound program, a federally funded pre-collegiate TRIO program that prepares first generation and low income students to attend college. The program’s unwavering support through high school, and even through college, motivated me to work in the field of education to share the mission of TRIO wherever I work. Contact Rebecca.
