Richie DePaolis-Metz

Director, Admissions & Outreach

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from a small college in North Dakota. After working several years in health care, I took an opportunity to work as an admissions representative at my alma mater. Since then I have worked at a regional four-year university and a community college in Minnesota and a land-grant research university in Illinois.

Along the way, I earned my Masters of Science degree in Education Leadership. As a first-generation college student I encountered barriers through my college experience, and that instilled in me a desire to guide students through their college journeys. I enjoy connecting individuals to opportunities in higher education because it is one of the most powerful tools to grow personally and to pursue a meaningful career. Contact Richie.

Susana Gallegos

Bilingual Admissions & Outreach Representative

I was born and raised in Mexico. My family and I moved to the States when I was 16 years old.

High school was very challenging for me because I was in a school where there were almost no Latinos and it was a big language and culture barrier. Thanks to one of my teacher's support I was able to graduate high school.

I moved to Colorado right after graduation and have been here ever since. I knew I wanted to go to college, but I was not sure how to start or where to go. My sister-in-law told me to go to FRCC and ask for information about how to start. Contact Susana.
