Concurrent Enrollment programs allow qualified high school students to enroll in FRCC college classes for both high school and college credit. Tuition is paid by the school district or charter school and the
College Opportunity Fund. Students may be responsible for fees and textbooks depending on their school district and the program in which they participate.

ASCENT (Accelerating Students through Concurrent Enrollment)
The ASCENT program is a fifth year program where approved students take an additional year of college classes after their 12th grade year. Students are approved for the ASCENT program through their school district and must talk to their high school/district for consideration in to the program. Tuition is covered by the school district, but students are responsible for textbooks and fees.
