You will set up, program and run high-tech machine tools, program parts on CAD/CAM software, figure out the most efficient way to make a part, and work in teams to solve factory and production problems.

Program Meets Rigorous National Standards
Our machining program is NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) accredited. That means our program meets rigorous national standards. You can earn NIMS certificates by successfully completing any one of the twelve exams we offer. These certifications are nationally recognized and are an excellent addition to your resume.
We have collaborated with dozens of manufacturers in Northern Colorado to develop a program that will provide students with foundational knowledge as well as modern techniques and skills to be successful machinists.
