The AS in Health Promotion prepares you for entry-level positions in health promotion, community health education, corporate wellness, non-profit organization, and public health agencies, as well as for further education and career advancement in the field of health promotion and public.

The AS in Sports Medicine can lead to an exciting career in medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, dentistry or other similar health careers.

Degree Options

AS in Health Promotion

Locations: Boulder County, Larimer, Westminster
Total Credits: 60 credits (4 semesters)

This program will prepare you for entry-level positions in health promotion, community health education, corporate wellness, non-profit organizations and public health agencies—as well as for further education and career advancement in the field of health promotion and public health.

Coupled with continuing education, students can enter into a variety of careers related to health promotion including:

This degree is meant to transfer to Colorado State University (CSU) to complete an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion concentration.

AS in Sports Medicine

This program provides a comprehensive science foundation and a strong understanding of the fundamentals of human movement. Courses encompass topics such as chemistry, biology, physics, anatomy, kinesiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, and the neuromuscular aspects of human movement. This concentration is designed to equip students both academically and professionally for their post-graduate studies and future roles in healthcare. Take classes in biology, chemistry, A&P, nutrition, health and more.  This degree is meant to transfer to CSU to complete an undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science: Sports Medicine Concentration.
