Flexibility That Works For Your Schedule
Our classes are designed to give you the flexibility you need to make nursing school work with your busy schedule. You can complete the majority of the program online—doing your coursework when and where it works for you. During our in-person practicum, we also offer opportunities to work with nursing experts close to where you live or work.
If you already have your Associate Degree in Nursing, this program can be completed in four full-time semesters. For students currently enrolled in FRCC's associate degree nursing program—as well as those working full-time as a registered nurse—the program allows extended time to earn a degree.

Our program accepts:

Students who have successfully completed their first semester of a nationally accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at a regionally accredited college—with a minimum 2.0 GPA in nursing courses—and are still enrolled in that ADN program.

Nurses who have already earned an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from a regionally accredited college—with a minimum 2.0 GPA in nursing courses—and have a current unencumbered RN license to practice in Colorado.

A bachelor's degree is also necessary for advancing a career in nursing leadership, management and education—or for becoming a nurse practitioner.
Course Format
The RN-to-BSN completion program is an online program with practicum coursework. All BSN nursing courses are offered online and are delivered in the MyCourses learning management system. Students are required to complete 68 hours of practicum work as part of FRCC's courses in leadership and community health nursing.
