AS in Physics

Total Credits: 60 credits (4 semesters)
Our Associate of Science (AS) degree in physics focuses on advanced applied physics and calculus. The degree allows you to complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree and then transfer to a university starting as a junior.
You'll study areas such as:
- Calculus-based physics
- Differential equations with linear algebra
- Modern physics
With an AS degree in physics from FRCC, you can complete the second half of a Bachelor of Science degree in physics at a four-year university.

Go to the Edge of Space
Thanks to a partnership with the Colorado Space Grant, FRCC students design experiments and build prototypes to gain experience and compete with other colleges and universities. In 2021, two FRCC teams won first place for their missions.
