Larimer Campus Tutoring

The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides a variety of opportunities for students to achieve academic success at FRCC. Our tutoring services are provided to all FRCC students at no cost, and most require nothing more than requesting assistance.

Tutoring Services by Department

Academic departments on the Larimer Campus provide free on-campus tutoring in Mount Antero 350 or remote tutoring options through Webex or Zoom. Unless noted otherwise below, no appointments are required and sessions begin the second week of the semester. For details about accessing drop-in tutoring sessions, please check your course in MyCourses or contact the ASC at 970-204-8112.

Course-Based Tutoring

Individual and small-group tutoring is available to FRCC students through the ASC.

FRCC Larimer Campus students are eligible for one hour of individual tutoring or two hours of group tutoring per week for up to two classes a semester.

We have tutors in many courses and will do our best to match you with a tutor in the course you request. If not, we will connect you with additional assistance through our learning strategies tutors, peer mentors or an online tutoring platform called TutorMe.

To request a tutor for weekly meetings throughout the semester, fill out the Tutor Request Form. The last day to request tutoring is three weeks before the end of the term. The ASC makes every effort to process requests within one week. If you are looking for occasional tutoring help when you need it, the ASC drop-in hours above may best fit your needs.
