The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides a variety of opportunities for students to achieve academic success at FRCC. Our tutoring services are provided to all FRCC students at no cost, and most require nothing more than requesting assistance.

How Tutoring Works

If you are a FRCC student enrolled in a for-credit FRCC or CCCS Online course, you're eligible for free weekly individual tutoring per course. We are offering both remote and in-person tutoring.
We provide scheduled, weekly tutoring sessions from the time you begin your session through the end of the semester. We offer two types of tutoring: individual sessions and group sessions.
For individual tutoring, we offer one session per week per course requested. For group tutoring, you can attend two sessions per week for that group.

How to Request Tutoring

  1. From eWOLF find the Navigate-Appointments & To Dos tool under Student Tools and click on it.
  2. Select Appointments from the list on the left hand side.
  3. Select Schedule an Appointment on the right hand side.
  4. You’ll now be looking at the scheduling grid, fill out the top two boxes in order.
    • In the top box What type of appointment would you like to schedule select Tutoring and
      Academic Support.
    • In the middle box Service select Request Tutoring – Tutor Intake.
    • Adjust the date range as you desire and select Find Available Time.
  5. Choose your campus based on your needs. Both a phone call and an in-person conversation are
    options.
    • Select Academic Success Center – Remote Services for a phone conversation
    • Select your campus of choice to schedule an in-person conversation
  6. Need help with Navigate? Stop by your campus Academic Success Center and book an
    appointment in person.
