Getting Ready to Graduate? Apply to Receive Your Diploma First
Congratulations, you are finishing your classes and are getting ready to graduate!
The first step is to apply to receive your degree or certificate. Remember, you must complete the Application for Degree/Certificate in order to be awarded your diploma.
To avoid any surprises, we also recommend that you use Degree Check (inside eWOLF) every semester. Here you can verify that you will be completing the requirements for your declared degree program or certificate. You will also verify that you have all the required credits and meet GPA requirements.
Application Deadlines

Step 3: Attend the Commencement Ceremony (Optional)

Congratulations to all our 2025-2026 graduates who attended our 2026 commencement ceremonies!
Diplomas & Official Transcripts
Starting Fall 2025, graduates will receive both a digital and printed diploma when they graduate. Here's what to expect in terms of process and timing:
- After the semester ends and all grades have been posted, the college will begin reviewing and awarding all degrees and certificates. This process may take up to four weeks as the college reviews every degree and certificate one last time to make sure everything is correct.
- Once the degree or certificate is awarded the college will process diplomas in weekly batches. Graduates will receive an email notification sent to their student email account with instructions for claiming their digital diploma electronically.
- Follow the link that will be provided in those emails/text messages to set up your Parchment digital credentials account.
- You can view your unofficial transcript in eWOLF to confirm your degree or certificate has been awarded. Once you confirm your award is on your transcript, you can order an official transcript.
Types of Diplomas
- Digital diplomas. Starting Fall 2025, FRCC offers free digital diplomas to students. Your digital diploma complements your paper diploma, but is faster to access and can be shared on social media. Find out how to download your digital diploma.
- Printed diplomas. Printed diplomas will be mailed to students 15-20 days after digital diplomas are ordered.
- Preferred name diplomas. It is recommended that the name on students’ diplomas match the official, legal name. However, you may request a preferred/chosen first and middle name to be printed in lieu of your legal name. Learn more about preferred name diplomas.
Need a Replacement Diploma?
Lost your previously awarded diploma? Order a replacement diploma for a certificate or degree that you have previously been awarded.
There is a $25 reprint fee. Once your payment is received, your replacement diploma can take a few weeks to be printed and arrive in the mail.
Please note that any diplomas awarded over one year ago will have a statement on the replacement diploma indicating when the diploma was originally awarded and when the replacement was issued.
Order a Transcript
Need proof of your certificate or degree? You can order a transcript.
