Completing your associate degree has benefits:

  • If you complete an A.A. or A.S. degree, all public four-year schools in Colorado will accept up to 60 transfer credits from community college – guaranteed. See requirements for associate degrees.
  • FRCC offers several two-year degrees in specific areas of study that allow you to enter as a junior toward that major at Colorado four-year schools.
  • Completing two years of college at FRCC can save you up to $10,000. 
  • Some schools offer scholarships specifically for transferring students.

Guaranteed Transfer to Four-Year Schools in Colorado

An Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Science (A.S.) degree from FRCC  transfers to any Colorado public four-year college or university, including:

  • Adams State University

  • Colorado Mesa University

  • Colorado State University-Fort Collins

  • Colorado State University-Pueblo

  • Fort Lewis College

  • Metropolitan State University of Denver

  • University of Colorado-Boulder

  • University of Colorado-Colorado Springs

  • University of Colorado-Denver

  • University of Northern Colorado

  • Western State Colorado University
