Transfer Guides & Agreements

FRCC students have great transfer opportunities. Articulation agreements with colleges and universities help make transferring easier and save you time and money. These agreements ensure that you won’t need to retake courses you’ve already passed or complete extra credits when you transfer as a junior—as long as you stay in the same major or program.

This Colorado Community College System (CCCS) program is for new, first-time college students. It ensures if you start at any CCCS college and finish your associate degree, you are guaranteed admission to a participating four-year college or university

Transfer Guides for Colorado Schools

With an associate degree, you’ll usually only need about 60 more credits to finish your Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. To stay on track, be sure to choose FRCC courses that will transfer and count toward your bachelor’s degree. You can do this by reviewing the general transfer guides for Colorado's four-year schools.

With these agreements, you can:

  • Graduate from FRCC with an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree.
  • Transfer to a public Colorado university as a junior in your chosen major.
  • Finish your bachelor's degree in that major with no more than 60 additional credits.

Colorado Community College System Transfer Agreements

Because institutions independently determine the requirements for their programs, transfer/articulation agreements differ from program to program and from college to college. See this alphabetical list of four-year colleges (both in and out of state) for the specific courses to take at FRCC and transfer into a bachelor's program.
