Why Earn an Associate of Science (AS) from Front Range Community College?

FRCC's two-year general AS degree offers a supportive stepping stone to your future bachelor's degree. Many students find tailoring the AS degree works well when transferring in biology, chemistry, geology, and physics. Haven't decided on your path yet? The general AS also allows you to explore different major options.

In this program, you'll take general education courses that provide a strong academic foundation and prepare you to succeed in upper-level classes. You'll develop critical thinking, research and documentation skills to help you reach your goals.

FRCC provides the same rigorous classes as a four-year university but with much more support. Our average class size is 15, meaning you won't learn in large lecture halls. You'll study under our engaging professors, who have earned master's degrees or doctorates.

We provide online and night course options, giving you even more flexibility to complete your program. FRCC offers many helpful resources for students, such as our Academic Support Centers, to help you improve your study skills. At FRCC, there will be someone supporting you at every step.
