How We Got Here

College Governance Discovery Workgroup

In spring 2025 the College Governance Discovery Workgroup was formed to reimagine how decisions are made at FRCC in ways that are transparent, collaborative, and centered on student success. Composed of representatives from across the college, the group brought together diverse voices to explore models that balance efficiency with inclusivity. Their charge was not only to examine best practices in governance, but also to ensure any proposed structure reflects FRCC’s values and supports the college’s one-college approach.
