Transitional Year: 2025–2026
The College Governance Transitional Taskforce has been established to create the framework, materials, and structure for FRCC's new College Governance Council. This work is a critical component of FRCC's commitment to shared governance and inclusive decision-making.
Transitional Taskforce Members
The Taskforce includes representation from faculty, instructor, staff and administration across all three FRCC campuses:
- Lilian Clemente (Executive Vice President & Chief Communications Officer, Executive Sponsor)
- Erin Peden (Biology Faculty, Westminster Campus)
- John Kinzey (Philosophy Faculty, Westminster Campus)
- Misty Falkenstein (English Instructor, Boulder County Campus)
- Rosie Ramirez (IT Senior Support Analyst, Boulder County Campus)
- Chris McGilvray (Academic Dean School of Manufacturing, Skilled Trades & Applied Technology, Boulder County Campus)
- Brandon Fox (Senior Director of Student Success, Larimer Campus)
- KC Petersen (Administrative Assistant, School of Science, Larimer Campus)
Their key responsibilities will include:
- Define bylaws, term limits and election processes
- Establish accountability and participation practices
- Develop communication and documentation systems
- Ensure all constituency groups have meaningful avenues for input
- Provide transparency through updates, FAQs and progress reports
- Prepare training and resources for the incoming CGC
