What Is Ram Transfer Academy?
Ram Transfer Academy (RTA) is designed to make transferring to CSU easier, and includes a variety of resources and supports to help you along the way.
As a part of RTA, you'll get:
- Student Success Coach
Get guidance from a dedicated coach to support your degree journey. Your student success coach will work closely with you to:- Build a custom semester-by-semester transfer plan, based on your intended CSU major
- Complete your associate’s degree either before OR after transfer to CSU
- Optimize your financial aid and access basic needs support
- Custom-Designed Student Success Course (AAA1001)
A collaboration between FRCC and CSU, this course will best prepare you for success at both! Offered as a 10-week class with 3 sessions on-campus @ CSU. - Dual Student Benefits
Access student services at both campuses, including CSU clubs and student organizations, the CSU Health Center, free Rams athletics tickets, the recreation center, student organizations, intramural sports, undergraduate research, legal services and more. - Guaranteed, Priority Admission to CSU
Receive full admission to CSU after successfully completing 24 credit hours or your associate’s at FRCC. RTA staff handle the transfer process without any additional steps needed from you. Competitive major requirements still apply. - Optional features:
- CSU housing (all charges apply)
- Co-enrollment at both FRCC & CSU (CSU tuition rates apply)
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for RTA, you:
- will have earned your high school diploma or GED/HiSET by the time you begin the program
- have not yet earned a bachelor's degree
- are enrolled (or plan to enroll) in FRCC classes for the semester you begin the program
- have two or more semesters left at FRCC before you transfer
- have not previously been a CSU student (see CSU Returning Students)
