Get Immediate Assistance

This button is available for situations where you need quick help from Campus Safety but may not be experiencing an emergency. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911. Use this feature if you feel unsafe, threatened, or need immediate assistance on campus.

How It Works

The feature uses a two-step activation to prevent accidental use and allow you to choose how you contact Campus Safety.

  1. First Tap: Opens a menu with information and options to call or text Campus Safety.
  2. Second Tap: When you select Call or Text, the request is sent to Campus Safety.

Once activated, Campus Safety immediately receives your GPS location. Depending on the option you choose, Campus Safety will receive either a phone call or a text message. This allows Campus Safety to quickly understand where you are and how to best communicate with you.

Emergency Reminder

If you are experiencing an emergency, always call 911 first. Then call Campus Safety when able to or ask someone else to call them.
