Returning Students

Are you a previous FRCC student returning after more than a year? We have a streamlined admissions process that will get you enrolled quickly.

Step 1: Reapply to FRCC

Welcome back! If it has been more than one year since you took classes at FRCC, you will need to reapply. Things to note:

  • If you've attended or applied to FRCC in the past year, you are considered an active student and don't need to re-apply—unless you are applying for a selective admissions program (ex: Nursing Programs, bachelor's degree programs, etc.) Current students applying for any selective admissions program must reapply.
  • If you have completed coursework at another college/university while away from FRCC, and would like to transfer that credit to FRCC, please follow the instruction found on the Transfer Students admissions page.

Application Instructions

  • Go to the FRCC Application and log into your previous application account.
    • On your application profile page, My Account, you will click on Create a New Application > Start a New Undergraduate Application.
  • After you apply, you'll receive an acceptance email within 3-5 business days with all the information you need to get started. Be sure to check you SPAM or JUNK email if you don't see this email within 3-5 business days.
  • Your S# will remain the same and your eWOLF account will be reactivated in 3-5 days.

Returning Student Enrollment Steps

Once you've reapplied and have received your acceptance email, its time to enroll at FRCC.

Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid

There are several options that can help pay for college including:
  • Grants and scholarships (free money that does not have to be repaid)
  • Loans (which you borrow and repay in the future)
  • Work-study (money earned through a job on or off campus)

Filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the first step for applying for financial aid. Learn more about FAFSA and how to apply for financial aid.

  • Students without citizenship status often qualify for state, institutional and private aid through the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA). Get more information about CASFA

Apply for Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF). If you're a Colorado resident, the state will help you pay for FRCC tuition.  All you have to do is apply. Learn how to apply for COF.

Apply for scholarships. Scholarships are a source of free money to help you pay for school. Discover what's required and how to apply for our merit- and need-based scholarships.
